Temat 1: Animals – e. g. Advantages and disadvantages of                     having a pet at home. Animals in danger of                                        extinction, etc.

Nowadays animals are very popular in our lifes. Some of us want to have a pet at home, some are only interested in them, but nobody indifferent.

       Many people have got an animal at home. Very often it is a dog, a cat or parrot. These animals are our friends and favorites. We take care of them but sometimes our animal gets tired because it hasn’t got enough place for running and for development. This is a disadvantage of having a pet at home. Sometimes irresponsible people forget about their pets and they don’t give them food or when they go on holiday their pet is found in shelter. Pet relieves tension in our family, it makes us happy. It gives pleasure and provokes mirth. But we must remember about its needs. We have to feed our pet and if it’s necessary we should go with our animal to the doctor. Unfortunately some animals are in danger of extinction. People kill them for money. For example a lot of elephants are killed for ivory. Nowadays many animals are killed for fur, which is used in industry. We should act in harmony with animals if we want to be happy and if we want to develop in our commercial civilization.

Temat 2: The capital of any English – speaking country – e.

               g. London, Washington, etc.

       London is the place, where so many different things to do and places to visit. We can visit Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s London home and see the Changing of the Guard at 11 a. m. every day. In the Tower of London, we can see the Crown Jewels and visit the place where many famous prisoners lived and died. London is one of the best places to be on raing day, because of all its museums and galleries. We can visit Science Museum or find the Natural History Museum with its excellent dinosaur exhibition. Art-lovers can visit the National Gallery or the Tate Gallery. London attracts shoppers from all over the world for the latest fashions. The main shopping  area is in the West End, around Oxford Street. We can buy anything from bargain jewellery to expensive antiques. There is always a wide choice of plays to see at London’s many theatres in the West End around Covent Garden. There are many clubs with modern music like house or jungle or more traditional music like Salsa and Samba. Music lovers can also find many places for top quality classical, jazz and pop music.

Temat 3: Why do people learn foreign languages? Your                             reasons for learning English.

       Recently learning foreign languages has become very fashionable and important for our education. People who have a good know-ledge of foreign languages haven’t got a problem with future work. Certainly it opens us for other people, strange culture and alien customs. I think that people who teach children at school cause that they develop. Especially English is very important. It is the language which use a lot of people. Everyone should have a fluent of English because nowadays life without this language is very difficult and uncomfortable. In the near future people will speak the same language which might be English That’s why we should learn English and improve it because it will be useful for us. Many people are looking for a work and qualification are becoming higher and higher. I think that we should learn foreign languages and especially English because it will help us in the future and it is for our own good.
