BIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL WEAPONS

·        What is biological weapons?

It’s any infection agent such as a bacteria or virus when used intentionally to inflict harm upon others. This definition is often expanded to include biological-derived toxins and poisons.

·        Why  are there dangerous?

Firstly, there is the fact that biological weapons are called a “Poor Man’s Atomic Bomb”, because to affect 1 square km it would cost only $1.00 in comparison with conventional weapon which cost approximately $2.000, $8.000 using nuclear weapons, $600 using chemical weapons is a tiny prize.

 Secondly, e.g. antrax can remain active and potentially lethal for at least 40 years, is a long period of time, in comparison with conventional weapons which explode once and are finished.
